What is Demo Plan — No API? This is a built-in demonstration feature included with AI Romance Writer. It does not use an AI provider, does not require an API key, and does not create any API charges. It creates a sample book or series structure so you can see how the planning, Series Bible, chapters, cover workflow, and publishing sections work before connecting your own AI account. To create an original AI-generated plan and book, use Create My Book / Series Plan.

They are not stored by us on our server. Clearing browser storage, using a different browser/device, or removing site data can remove locally saved projects.

Save multiple books and series in this browser. Every new book gets its own saved project record and its cover images stay attached to that project. Reopen, duplicate, rename, or delete them anytime.
Browser-only storage: each saved book or series has its own private browser record. Saved books, series plans, manuscripts, edits, and cover images in My Books are stored only in this browser on this device. Large projects and covers use the browser's higher-capacity private storage so normal cover generation does not fill basic browser storage. They are not saved by us or stored on our server.

Cover Studio
OpenAI and Gemini generate the cover directly inside AI Romance Writer. The Cover Architect builds category-specific commercial romance prompts with a strong focal point, emotional tension, premium lighting, clean thumbnail readability, and space for the software to add the title, subtitle and author. OpenAI requests are automatically rewritten into fully clothed, non-explicit commercial-cover language to reduce unnecessary safety rejections. Claude can refine the prompt but does not natively generate image output.
Premium Cover Direction: The prompt engine avoids generic stock-photo posing and asks for one clear visual story, simple readable poses, believable anatomy and expressions, polished commercial lighting, genre-specific mood, visual depth, and a composition that still reads clearly at small bookstore thumbnail size. Fix Anatomy / Regenerate recreates the same concept with stricter limb, hand and pose controls using the most recently used image provider.

Enter this once and AI Romance Writer will automatically use it for new books. Your author profile is stored only in this browser on this device and is not saved by us or stored on our server.
Name & Location Memory
Prevent repeated names and places across new projects. This memory is stored only in the customer's browser and is used by the hidden writing engine to avoid reusing prior character names, surnames, towns, streets, businesses, ranches, estates, buildings and other important locations in new projects.
How it works: after a new AI-generated project plan is created, AI Romance Writer stores the important names and locations in these lists. Future projects tell the AI not to reuse anything on the list unless you turn the memory off or clear it.
